This is your chance to be part of something truly impactful. We’re looking for a Project Risk Specialist to provide expert risk management services across major water infrastructure projects. You’ll collaborate with water infrastructure project teams to embed best-practice risk management strategies, ensuring project success while fostering a strong risk-aware culture. About the Role: As a Project Risk Specialist , you’ll support the risk management function within Systems Planning and Infrastructure Delivery, ensuring risks in water infrastructure delivery projects are proactively identified, assessed, and managed throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with project teams, you’ll bring your construction and infrastructure risk expertise to provide strategic guidance, facilitate risk assessments, and contribute to continuous improvement in risk processes. Key Responsibilities: Support the application of risk management best practices across water infrastructure projects. Facilitate qualitative and quantitative risk assessments and ensure accurate risk documentation. Provide expert guidance to project teams on risk mitigation strategies and compliance with risk frameworks. Contribute to risk reporting, including maintaining dashboards and supporting monthly risk updates. Foster a risk-aware culture by engaging with stakeholders and driving continuous improvement initiatives. To Thrive in This Role, You’ll Bring: A tertiary qualification in Risk, Business Improvement, Management Systems, or a related field, or proven equivalent experience. Strong experience in project risk management within infrastructure, construction or oil & gas, or large-scale projects. Knowledge of risk and assurance management frameworks and systems, ensuring compliance across project teams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate project risks.
