Project Support Officer - Deadly Democracy (Identified) Are you a creative, proactive, collaborative First Nations candidate? Ninti One Ltd is a First Nations, Supply Nation registered, not-for-profit organisation experiencing a rapid period of growth and is seeking an emerging First Nations leader as a Project Support Officer. This is a short-term contract, with the view to extend, working on our Deadly Democracy project. The role will include a diverse range of tasks, including administrative support, coordinating of travel arrangements and meetings, and supporting the leadership and project teams as required. The Deadly Democracy program is an Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) Indigenous Electoral Participation Program’s (IEPP) youth engagement program designed to increase electoral awareness and understanding among First Nations youth. The program partners with organisations nationwide to recruit First Nations participants aged 18 to 24 years old. The program upskills participants in project management, cultural skills, and electoral education to empower them to deliver an electoral-based education project in their community. The Project Support Officer will support the Project Manager to ensure the project meets quality and strategic goals as planned, on time, and to budget. This is a Full Time Fixed Term hybrid role, preferably based in SA or NT, consisting of 38 hours/week, with immediate start. Key Responsibilities This is a graduate/entry level role so guidance and training will be given to meet job requirements: Reporting and Project Administration: Assist the Project Manager with reports, online meeting coordination, travel logistics, invoicing, and managing project records and documentation. Stakeholder and Relationship Management: Under guidance, provide culturally appropriate support on project ideation, project planning, and project delivery. Event and Workshop Support and Facilitation: Support facilitation of in-person and online training and program delivery sessions with Deadly Democracy participants. Program Design and Implementation: Under guidance, contribute to the design and production of the Deadly Democracy program participant-facing materials ensuring they are youth-friendly, culturally appropriate, and relevant. Assist with the development and maintenance of project schedules, plans, and other project documentation.
