About the team The Fleet, Credit Card Insurance and Travel (FCIT) Section is part of the Financial and Shared Services Branch within the CFO Division. The section has responsibility for providing the following services to the department: credit card policy, administration, and support overseas travel policy, bookings, and system administration domestic travel policy, support, and advice fleet management policy, administration, and support ComCover insurance management expense business support projects and business improvements relating to functions. What you will do As the Project Team Leader, you will assist with change management and customer experience to implement innovative ideas across the FCIT section and CFO group. Key tasks will include: coordinating daily tasks for the team relating to fleet, assurance, and project activities assisting with managing FCIT projects, including preparation and maintenance of project management documentation, coordination of projects, preparing papers for working group/committee meetings, monitoring and reporting project progress, and stakeholder engagement undertaking research and analysis to develop solutions for process improvement in FCIT activities working with the FCIT teams to prepare/update/review procedures documentation and process maps managing changes associated with projects including preparing and delivering high-quality communication and training products engaging, consulting, and collaborating with key stakeholders both internal and external to the department ensuring compliance with the department’s audit and assurance timeframes, including ANAO timeframes and internal assurance requirements providing advice and guidance on policy and procedures and liaising with other teams across CFO Division and the greater department contributing to and participating in branch and team initiatives and programs. Eligibility To be eligible for employment in the APS and the department, candidates must be Australian Citizens. Positions require a Baseline security clearance and successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level. Notes A merit pool may be established and used to fill future vacancies within 18 months from the date the vacancy was first advertised in the Gazette. The department does currently offer flexible work opportunities for many roles. This vacancy is ACT - Industry House based, although flexible or remote work arrangements may be considered.
