We have a position for a Projects Draftsperson with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, reporting to and working alongside our Projects Manager who is responsible for installation of new plant and facilitating factory automation and improvements. The applicant will be assisting in all aspects of design and commissioning of plant including creation of concept drawings, design drawings, documentation of specifications and creation of operation, service and safety documentation compliant to JAS ANZ accredited quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and update CAD drawings of plant mechanical and electrical schematics Updating existing mechanical (electrical) documentation accurately for maintenance reference. Drafting of technical manuals for commissioning, safe operation and planned maintenance of industrial plant Essential skills and experience for this role are: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline Have advanced skill in CAD (2D & 3D AutoCAD) drafting Experience with industrial electrical and plant automation in an Engineering/manufacturing environment Experience in technical writing of manuals and document control Very strong written and oral communication skills.
