MRS Property, incorporating Harmony Property Investments, is an independent property Advisory, Investment and Asset Management company specialising in commercial property. With offices in Adelaide and Melbourne, we take the time to get to know our clients and understand their needs to ensure their property investments are successful. Our Advisory Division seeks the services of an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has recently studied, or is currently studying, the Bachelor of Business (Property) degree or similar. The role will provide an opportunity to become involved in a wide range of property projects in conjunction with our diverse range of private and institutional clients. More specifically, the role entails the following: Assisting the Advisory team by undertaking certain tasks in accommodation search assignments, general lease advice, opinion of value reports, acquisition mandates, financial analysis and strategic property reviews. Assisting in undertaking due diligence investigations and feasibility analysis for a diverse range of clients. Assisting in the preparation and presentation of Advisory Services submissions. Regularly updating the MRS Research Database and Tenant Expiry List by collating key information for all commercial property transactions (including relevant software, research reports and online sources) and providing commercial property market information for use by all in the MRS office. Undertaking “high level” market rental and value assessments for all departments. Consultation with researchers, valuers, owners, leasing and sales agents to obtain detail on relevant property transactions. Assisting all MRS operatives in providing detailed market information on a regular basis. Undertaking specific tasks for the Advisory, Property Management and Harmony Investment divisions in a research and support capacity as required. Attending client and industry lunches, dinners and other functions/events to interact with clients and consultants, gaining market and business knowledge and enhancing the profile of MRS Property. Helping to organise work events and functions. Prior experience in a similar property and/or support role (one to three years) would be advantageous, but is not essential. Strong communication and organisational skills are required for this role. As a key member of a highly committed team, the ability to work flexible hours will be required.
