Position 20 minutes from Perth CBD Training facility Full time This is a busy Mental Health Service, and you will have wide clinical exposure. Teaching and continual education is encouraged, and formal sessions are available weekly. Work with some of Perth’s leading Consultants in a busy unit comprising of: Emergency Medicine, Adult Mental Health Ward, Older Adult Mental Health Ward and Secure Ward. The unit provides multidisciplinary care to all patients on the wards and Emergency Medicine department based on an individualised care model. It also maintains strong links with community mental health services, other primary health care providers and social services to ensure patients receive ongoing care after leaving hospital. Hospital A major 367-bed Hospital, with the Public facility comprising of 307 and the co-located Private facility, 60 beds. Its key services include; emergency department, critical care unit, day chemotherapy unit, aged care and stroke ward, maternity ward, mental health unit, and surgical and medical wards. With a strong commitment to inter-disciplinary learning and excellent access to medical technology and a broad array of specialist inpatient colleagues, the hospital places a large emphasis on one on one or small group training and the value of educational experience.
