Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive (Publicist) to join our team. In this role, you will manage client accounts, develop and execute PR strategies, and build strong media relationships to enhance our clients' visibility and reputation. Key Responsibilities: Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients. Understand the client’s business objectives and tailor PR strategies accordingly. Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key journalists and media outlets in the technology sector. Secure impactful media coverage and drive press mentions. Content Creation: Develop press materials, including press releases, media pitches, and bylined articles. Campaign Execution: Plan and implement PR campaigns, monitor media coverage, and provide clients with regular performance reports. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior team members to develop and maintain comprehensive PR strategies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Between 2 and 4 years of experience in public relations, preferably within the technology sector. Proven track record of successful media placements and campaign execution. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Proficiency in GSuite (Google tools) and PR software tools.
