We are seeking a Qualified Accountant to take a lead role in overseeing compliance , managing financial reporting, and supporting business advisory services in collaboration with the Managing Director. The Role: This is a critical position within Bellamin Advisory , ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working closely with clients. You will oversee compliance across all clients , ensure high standards in financial reporting, and assist in delivering business advisory services that help our clients achieve their goals. You will also work to refine internal workflows, enhance efficiencies, and support the firm’s continued growth. Key Responsibilities: · Compliance & Financial Reporting: Oversee compliance obligations for all clients, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and statutory deadlines. Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and business reports with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and clarity. Identify and implement improvements in compliance workflows to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk. · Business Advisory & Client Engagement: Work alongside the Managing Director to provide business advisory services that add value to clients’ operations. Develop strong client relationships and gain a deep understanding of their businesses to provide strategic support. Communicate complex accounting concepts in a clear, practical, and client-friendly manner. · Workflow & Process Management: Ensure seamless workflow management across the firm, maintaining high service standards and meeting all deadlines. Contribute to process improvement initiatives that align with our beautifully simple approach to business. Support the integration of technology and automation to drive efficiency in compliance and reporting functions. Mentor and guide junior accountants, reviewing their work and fostering their professional growth. Cultivate a collaborative team environment where knowledge-sharing and efficiency drive success. Requirements: · Fully qualified accountant (CPA, CA, or equivalent). · Minimum 5+ years of experience in a public practice accounting firm. · Strong technical expertise in accounting, taxation, and compliance regulations. · Proven experience in overseeing compliance functions and managing regulatory obligations. · Ability to streamline processes and manage workflow efficiently. · Excellent communication skills, with a client-focused and problem-solving mindset. · Experience in mentoring junior staff and driving process improvements. · Proficiency in accounting software and technology-driven accounting solutions.
