Qualified Paramedics First Aid Medics Casual Event Medical – Sydney First Aid Medics & Paramedics Established in 2006, under the auspices of Colbrow Healthcare, Colbrow Medics has a proven track record in the provision of reliable and professional First Aid & Medical Services. Servicing a large and wide variety of industry, community and sporting events and festivals throughout Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for healthcare staff to work in the challenging and fast paced environment of mass gatherings and pre-hospital care. Colbrow Medics personnel are deployed to work in large teams with mixed skill sets including experienced Doctors, Paramedics, Nurses, Medics & Support Staff. Qualifications/Experience Required – Paramedics: Completion of a graduate program with an Australian government ambulance service (essential for Paramedics) UK Paramedics with current HCPC registration Experience working as a Qualified Paramedic with a government ambulance service National Police Check (recent) Qualifications/Experience Required – Medics: Two years experience in a similar role HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation HLTAID003 Provide First Aid HLTAID006 Provide Advanced First Aid (Desired) HLTAID007 Provide Advanced Resuscitation (Desired) Own trauma kit or willing to obtain National Police Check (recent) Events include: Music Events Extreme Sports Events Public Events Film & Television Productions Staff must have: Excellent and confident decision making ability Ability to work within a team as well as independently Good observation skills Ability to cope under stressful situations Professional presentation and reliability Excellence in customer service Shifts are available via online rostering system based on your availability. Healthcare Professionals currently or recently working in hospital or ambulance environments are encouraged to apply.
