We’re actively looking for compassionate , dedicated , and motivated qualified Support Workers to join our team, with a particular focus on those who are looking for late availability shifts and those returning to work after a career break—whether you’ve been caring for children, looking after loved ones, or exploring other pursuits. Provide personal care, mobility assistance, and help with daily household tasks. Offer social support, fostering engagement in community and wellness activities. Keep your team leader updated on client needs and progress. Assist clients with transportation to appointments and social outings. Travel locally between client homes across the North Melbourne region i.e. Bundoora, Craigieburn, Whittlesea, Coburg, Preston, Reservoir, etc (with paid mileage). About You: You’re a kind, empathetic individual who has a passion for helping others. You have had previous experience in care and a natural flair for looking after people. Perhaps you’ve been away from the workforce for a while—whether that’s due to caring for your family or other reasons—and are now ready to return to something meaningful. You are: Patient, understanding, and compassionate. Someone who enjoys building relationships with people, especially those in need of care and support. Ready to work flexible hours, including late shifts and weekends. Open to learning and growing in a supportive environment. You have: A minimum of Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Community Services, OR current nursing students who have completed Aged Care placements. Previous experience in Aged Care or Community Services. Flexibility to work various shifts - have availability between Monday and Friday 7am-8pm and occasional weekends. Basic computer skills with attention to detail in documentation. Ability to work independently, while reporting to a Supervisor. Empathy, patience, and a positive outlook on Ageing. A current Driver’s License and registered and comprehensively insured reliable vehicle. National Police Check (or willingness to obtain). Current First Aid and CPR certificates. Why Join Us?
