Locally owned, they have offices in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, and partner with commercial, social, and government agencies to help them simplify the complexities of human behaviour and understand, on an emotional level, how brands fit into people’s lives. This is a key senior role in the business, with a seat at the SLT and an amazing team of juniors reporting to you. Hands-on with leading and managing qualitative projects from brief to delivery, your focus will be on strategy, storytelling, and finding the insights that drive growth and offer solutions to meaty client problems. You’ll love the constant stream of diverse qualitative projects spanning – brand strategy, behaviour change, communications testing, nudging, concept delivery, new product development, and innovation. You will have an overarching responsibility for: Shaping strategy – Writing winning proposals and designing bespoke research approaches drawing upon qualitative, BSCI, and quant tools Building deep client partnerships – with new and existing clients who will see you as a trusted client partner Tackling qualitative & multidisciplinary ad-hoc projects - from multi-country studies, to quick turnarounds Facilitating qualitative research – Moderating groups, in-depth interviews, online communities, workshops, co-creation sessions, ethnography, BSCI tools, and AI Translating insights into action – Crafting compelling stories, reports, and presentations that inspire change and drive success Leading and mentoring – Developing junior talent and shaping the future generation of qualitative thinkers Driving thought leadership – Contributing to industry discussions, trend forecasting, and agency growth Growing the business – networking, business development, and spotting opportunities The Melbourne team has a start-up energy—fast-paced, dynamic, and full of opportunity.
