As the Quality, Compliance and Safe Service Management Officer (Policy & Procedures) , you’ll be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and review of business Policies and Procedures to ensure their compliance with quality framework, Australian Aged Care Quality Agency Accreditation Standards and legislations whilst ensuring that the person-centred culture is at the heart of all that we do. St Vincent’s Care Services, Bowen Hills, QLD is an accredited aged care provider providing services that comply with national aged care legislation, the aged care quality and safety standards and national disability standards. Key Responsibilities: Working with the Service Delivery Governance Team in the development, implementation, maintenance and review of business Policies and Procedures to ensure their compliance with internal and external standards and legislation. Assist in the development and implementation of the Standards Quality framework and audit schedules across the business. Assist in the management of clinical and non-clinical risk related action plans and associated policy development. Contribute to and participate in all relevant SVHA & SVCS committees and meetings. Assist in the development and management of effective and efficient processes for incident and complaints management. Things that work for us: Tertiary Qualifications in Nursing or Related Health Discipline - AHPRA (Postgraduate qualification in related area desirable) Computer literacy using the Microsoft office applications. Previous experience in the development of policies and processes. Previous experience in Aged Care residential services and operational experience of accreditation processes desirable. Ability to maintain collaborative and effective relationships with multidisciplinary team members. High standard of professional and clinical leadership. Demonstrated capability in the analysis of data and presentation of outcome-based documentation. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Ability to provide service consistent with the mission and philosophy of St Vincent’s Care. National Criminal History Check Valid within 6 months NDIS Worker Screen Check Australian Working Entitlements A valid Drivers License.
