About Us Our client specializes in providing industrial remediation services and asset preservation solutions across various industries including infrastructure, mining, marine, defense, and commercial sectors. They are currently looking for a Quality Officer for their Paint Blast project at their Adelaide office. About the role: Oversee project execution to ensure alignment with approved plans, procedures, and quality requirements. Maintain compliance with both internal and client-specific quality standards for blasting and painting activities. Ensure all work meets technical, safety, and environmental obligations, maintaining best practices. Contribute to task planning, risk assessments, and regular audits to uphold quality standards. Conduct material inspections and review documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications. Identify and report non-conformance issues, recommending corrective actions and monitoring resolution timelines. Skills and Experience: A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is highly valued. NACE CIP 2 certification is a must-have. Background in marine, asset remediation, and infrastructure projects, particularly in blasting, painting, and concrete rehabilitation, is a strong advantage. Solid understanding of coatings, surface preparation, hazardous materials management, and application techniques. Hands-on experience with quality systems, including ITPs and QA/QC coordination. Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders. Confident in using Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting.
