In partnership with our client, we’re seeking an Operations Lead to spearhead strategic growth, operational excellence, and large-scale project execution in Queensland. This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished infrastructure professional to lead, develop, and deliver complex large scale infrastructure projects while shaping the company’s future in new markets. What You’ll Be Doing: Strategic Leadership & Business Growth – Drive expansion into new regions, oversee market development, and cultivate key client relationships to position our client as an industry leader. Team Building & Leadership – Grow, assemble and integrate high-performing teams across the Queensland operations, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficiency. You'll also collaborate with a national team as the region grows. Project Development & Execution – Lead multi-million-dollar projects from pre-contracts to delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget success with best-in-class client and stakeholder engagement. Cross-Regional Collaboration – Navigate complex international structures, leveraging diverse resources and aligning teams for project excellence. Business Development & Client Engagement – Secure major tenders and develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring business continuity and sustained growth. What We’re Looking For: Proven leadership experience in major infrastructure projects in multiple forms of contract including but not limited to hard dollar, alliance, PPP and D&C frameworks. Track record of success in the front end of precontracts and securing major contracts, and delivering multi-million-dollar programs. Ability to build and lead large, multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations. Deep understanding of market expansion strategies and resource allocation in a competitive environment.
