Job Description

RESIDENTIAL AGED CARE FOOD SERVICES ASSISTANT GREENWOOD MANOR - AGED CARE (Dingley Village, VIC) Aged Care Food Services Assistant Daily 2.30 - 8pm We are seeking a skilled & experienced Food Services Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role will require the successful applicant to: Assist with the preparation and plating of meals and drinks, catering for specific dietary preferences and texture modification. Set up and ensure cleanliness of dining areas, creating a positive dining experience for residents. Maintain hygiene standards, including proper food handling, storage, and record keeping. Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen - wash dishes, utensils, and equipment and clean benches/floors. The successful applicants MUST have: 3+ years Aged Care experience; Food Handling or Food Safety Certificate; Knowledge of the IDDSI and requirements of texture modified food and fluids; Great time management skills and the ability to work with a team under the direction of the Chef; Excellent communication skills and the passion to work in an Aged Care environment.
