Job Description

Racing Queensland (RQ) is a statutory body whose primary purpose is to promote, enhance and provide a platform to service the industry across three codes of racing: Thoroughbred, Greyhound, and Harness. RQs Mission is to champion great racing and events which connect Queensland communities. Role Summary Are you a Purpose-led RTO Compliance Officer that understands the value of trust and integrity? Racing Queensland is looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to join our Registered Training Organisation on a permanent, part-time basis with flexible work options. This role is equivalent to three days per week or similar hours. What you’ll do, day to day Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for internal and external audits, including learner records, assessment tools, and training materials. Assist with the preparation and execution of external ASQA audits, ensuring the RTO meets all regulatory requirements. Data management and reporting, ensuring all student enrolment, completion, and qualification data is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with AVETMISS reporting requirements. Submit timely and accurate reports to the RTO Advisor and external bodies, as required. Compliance Monitoring, regularly review RTO policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant legislation and standards. Ensure learner management systems and records are maintained to ASQA and RTO standards. Work closely with the RTO Advisor and other team members to maintain and improve the organisation’s training and compliance functions.
