Diversify your experience in Land Management and Conservation Manage a dedicated and innovative team Enjoy a healthy work-life balance, with a competitive salary About the role As the Ranger Team Leader, you will lead a team of staff to deliver high-quality services in line with the Regional Operations Plan, with support and under the direction of the Area Chief Ranger. You will work as a key member of the area team in delivering on-ground services. You will monitor work practices and with support from the Area Chief Ranger, ensure compliance with relevant specifications such as Parks Victoria's policies and procedures. You will demonstrate a strong personal work ethic for team members to follow and ensure that District employees maintain a high standard of personal accountability and compliance with the Code of Conduct. As a ranger, you are responsible for guiding the team, inspiring enthusiasm, ensuring their safety and welfare, and ensuring they are appreciated for their efforts. We're looking for someone with: Demonstrated extensive experience in leadership, performance management, and managing a team day-to-day. Demonstrated flexibility in workload management. Demonstrate strong customer service focus both internally and externally. Track record in dealing with external stakeholders on a range of land management issues.
