The Recovery Coach/Support Coordinator will be providing dual services, collaborating with various teams, including Customer Service, Product, Business Assurance, People Excellence, Finance, and Peer Work Coordinators. You will be part of the Support Coordination Team, which connects participants with an NDIS plan to the necessary supports and services. This team is the first point of contact for NDIS participants, families, and Support Coordinators seeking information about New Horizons or choosing us to provide services under an NDIS plan. Key Responsibilities: Wear multiple hats - Provide services as both a Support Coordinator and Recovery Coach. Support individuals with psychosocial disabilities, helping them live full and meaningful lives. Assist customers in taking control of their lives and managing the complex challenges of day-to-day living. Manage and plan your own work, meet or exceed KPIs, monitor progress and required outcomes, and take appropriate corrective action. Assist employees with the implementation of projects and key tasks. Authorise and action expenditure within your financial delegation, ensuring compliance with the current Chart of Operational Delegations. Skills and Experience: Engage with mentoring as required. Ability to constructively navigate and adapt to change. Understanding of Coordination of Supports and Recovery Coaching under the NDIS. Advanced competency in working with people with a Psychosocial Disability and knowledge of relevant disability service standards, Mental Health Act, and other legislative requirements. Purposefully and intentionally share aspects of your lived or living experience of mental health challenges with customers and staff. Actively seek and encourage innovative solutions to perform under pressure and maintain resilience. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain effective relationships. Technical literacy with proven ability to use Microsoft Office and systems for reporting. Essential Role Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in peer work or mental health (minimum of Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or Certificate IV in Mental Health) OR equivalent training (e.g., Intentional Peer Support training). A minimum of two years of experience in mental health-related work. National Criminal History Check (Current Police Check), Working with Children Check, NDIS worker screening check. Valid NSW Drivers C class licence, with the ability to drive vehicles in licence class, including large cars & vans. Benefits: Salary packaging of up to $15,900+ in tax-free pay.
