Recovery and Resolution Planning Manager Sydney 03-Mar-2025 Permanent - Full time, Mid-level Compliance & Regulatory, Risk Management Our Recovery and Resolution Planning team within Aggregate Risk and Prudential is focused on navigating a developing area of regulatory reform, focusing on crisis preparedness and ensuring that Macquarie’s obligations under CPS 190, CPS 900 and APS 910 (Recovery and Exit Planning, Resolution Planning, and the Financial Claims Scheme) are met. As a Manager, you will work with a wide range of Macquarie’s business and support groups and be responsible for developing and supporting capabilities in crisis preparedness. You will work with the team to design and implement a variety of regulatory reform actions and embedding these into the business. You will develop an understanding of how crisis preparedness fits into the firm’s broader risk management framework and financial contingency planning. In addition, you will have the opportunity to own and take responsibility for your own pieces of work, presenting to senior stakeholders and seeing through delivery from start to finish. In addition, you will support ongoing engagement with the APRA regulator around crisis preparedness and be involved in reviewing complex issues and developing meaningful insights that will assist with decision making by senior leadership. What you offer Demonstrable financial services experience, ideally in a risk management/legal/group treasury/compliance capacity Possess a strong understanding of financial risk management and/or regulation applicable to banks Ability and desire to solve bespoke problems whilst demonstrating an excellent eye for detail and curiosity to investigate Self-starter and ability to time manage and deliver your own pieces of work independently Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortability adapting to change, ideally having experience with high profile projects and teams.
