About the Role Based in Melbourne, we have the opportunity for an experienced HR leader to join our regional management team and to contribute to our ongoing long-term growth and success. Reporting to the Director of Operations with a functional reporting line to our New Zealand HR team, this role is integral in supporting the region's Asian sales offices to achieve their growth strategies. You will collaborate closely with the senior leadership team across the region to deliver key people initiatives at a regional and local level. This is an exciting role that encompasses both the operational and strategic elements of HR so the candidate needs to be able to move across both areas. Some key responsibilities of the role Responsible for the entire HR related activities for the Australian business ensuring compliance to relevant legislations where applicable. This includes recruitment, performance management, develop and refine policies, organisational development, talent development, administration and off-boarding. Provide HR leadership and guidance to leaders and local HR generalists in sales offices. Lead the development and implementation of people strategies and initiatives, including DEI, for the region which are aligned with global people strategies. Manage the remuneration reviews for the region and ensure external salary benchmarking is reviewed. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and complete regular reporting as required both internally and externally (EG: WGEA). Key Skills & Experience Proven HR business partnering experience within an international company. Excellent knowledge of the Australian employment relations landscape. Strong communication and commercial skills and the ability to partner closely with our business. A hands-on, solutions-focused approach with an interest in identifying and improving processes. Be able to guide and mentor local HR generalists to align themselves with the global people strategies. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. As part of the sales operations team, you will play a key role in both local and international projects and contribute to the direction of the sales organisation.
