$108– $123k + Super + Leave loading + 6 weeks Leave + Laptop West Arnhem Regional Council covers an area of almost 50,000 km² of stunning natural landscape in the western part of Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. More than two thirds of the region’s population of just over 6,000 identify as Aboriginal Australians, who reside in a collection of towns, communities, and outstations. The Council provides a range of local government services to five towns and communities across five wards with many popular tourist destinations. About the role The Regional Roads Manager is responsible for developing, overseeing, and delivering regional road projects that address community needs within the West Arnhem Regional Council's Communities. About you Tertiary qualifications in engineering, project or asset management, or related field, and/or extensive proven experience in the provision and management of assets, projects, and contracts preferably within a local government environment. Extensive experience and knowledge of project management practices including record keeping, preparation of tender documents, knowledge of contractual agreements, and proven financial skills. Proven ability to undertake multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively manage workloads to meet critical timeframes.
