Job Description
Council building services team are seeking a Registered Building Inspector to join the team on a contract basis for an initial 1-month term. The team has two main roles within council: legislative enforcement and community building record keeping, looking after pool and spa safety, report and consents, POPE’s, investigations, emergency response, and notices and orders. Specifically, this role will be involved in inspections, building enforcement activities, and providing customer support for compliance queries. Working closely with the MBS, you will contribute to the effective and efficient regulatory compliance for the council’s community. Located in southwestern Victoria, this role is best suited to those seeking a part-time, 3-day-a-week position. Immediate start required. Hourly rate circa $100.
