Job Description

We are seeking applications from Registered Nurses with experience in aged care nursing to work at 70 Lowe Street Ararat. This is a part-time maternity leave position, 32 hours per week from March 2025 – March 2026. About Us East Grampians Health Service is based in Ararat and Willaura (Regional Victoria) and takes its name from the magnificent mountain range that provides a backdrop to both townships. Our aged care services focus on the individual, their family, friends, and community. Individualised care is assured by identifying the resident’s personal preferences and interests in all areas across the social and clinical spectrum. We have adopted the Montessori environment to provide purpose and stimulation through everyday activities. This approach supports our residents to live their lives to the fullest and make the most of the services we have to offer. About the Role Following the Montessori model of care, EGHS is seeking those engaged and interested in working in this innovative Aged Care model that brings improved outcomes and quality of life for our residents. About You The successful applicant/s will be committed to the provision of high standards of resident care and have a broad knowledge of nursing with a background of practice in a managed care setting. The successful applicant will have: Current AHPRA registration Highly motivated and committed to providing quality care Well-developed written and verbal communication, coordination, and organisational skills. Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Demonstrated developing leadership and management skills.
