About this role Bundaberg Home Care is a respected team of healthcare professionals dedicated to empowering clients to maintain their independence and safety within the comfort of their own homes. We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, in-home clinical care to elderly clients, supporting their overall health and well-being. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work autonomously within the community, providing essential healthcare services across Bundaberg and the surrounding regions. This position involves regular travel between clients' homes, which is a key part of the role. A valid driver’s license and a fully insured, comprehensively covered vehicle is required. You will be reimbursed for using your own vehicle, with an allowance of $0.96 per kilometre. Key responsibilities include: Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop and regularly review individualized care plans, ensuring they are evidence-based and tailored to each person's needs. Care Delivery: Implement care strategies that enhance the quality of life for residents/clients, maintaining compliance with accreditation standards. Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Personal Care Workers and Support Staff, to provide holistic care. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records in accordance with organizational and legislative requirements. Leadership: Provide guidance and support to care teams, fostering a positive and collaborative environment. To be suitable for the position, you will have: Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse. CPR certification. A valid driver’s license. A genuine passion for caring for the elderly and vulnerable. Possess or willingness to obtain: National Police Certificate. Influenza vaccinations. Desirable: Home Care and Nursing experience.
