Position: Registered Nurse - Theatre Location: Numurkah EFT/Hours: up to 0.6 EFT (48 Hours Per Fortnight) - preferably 2 appointments against this EFT Status: Permanent Part Time Salary/ Hourly rate: PT$40.1579 to $50.6816 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation NCN Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Theatre team in Numurkah. This position requires current perioperative experience, including proficiency in Pre-Admission Anaesthetics, Operating Theatre, Recovery, CSSD, and the Day Procedure Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, demonstrating clinical excellence, and working both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities: Deliver safe and effective nursing care within the perioperative environment. Assess, prioritise, and manage patient care to achieve optimal clinical outcomes. Work collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and the broader healthcare team. Ensure compliance with best practice guidelines and hospital policies. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Essential Criteria: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Demonstrated experience in perioperative nursing, including at least one or more of the following areas: Anaesthetics, Theatre, Recovery, CSSD, or Day Procedure Unit. Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Competence in intermediate computer skills. Postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing (highly desirable). Immunity against COVID-19 is highly recommended. Please note: This position is not suitable for newly graduated Registered Nurses or those with limited perioperative experience, including student placements.
