Registered Nurse - Icon Cancer Centre, GCUH Nursing Gold Coast Part Time Icon Cancer Centre AustraliaWe have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team at our Icon Cancer Centre based at the Gold Coast University Hospital on a 12-month part-time contract. Working across a 5-day fortnight , this position will report to the Nurse Manager and provide high quality nursing support for our radiation oncology patients.Key Responsibilities: Provision of patient centred radiation oncology cancer care to our patients and their families, ensuring an empathetic approach to patients' needs are met in a timely manner. Monitor and treat patients for illness, lymphoedema or other side effects. Maintain standards by ensuring best practice protocols and clinical guidelines are implemented and followed. Support implementation of new systems, therapies and clinical trials. Actively motivate others and maintain an environment of continuous quality improvement. Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Hold current registration with AHPRA. Recent experience in Radiation Oncology/Oncology Nursing is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided as part of induction. Demonstrate a commitment to the provision of exceptional patient care. Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. Demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of high quality patient care and service.
