To find out more about Vasey RSL Care and the important work we do, visit our website: About the Home Vasey RSL Care Brighton is home to just 40 residents, providing a cosy community. Clinical care is provided by our experienced nursing team in collaboration with allied health staff and GPs, and food and laundry services are provided onsite. About the role The RN Team Leader's key responsibilities include supervising employees, managing the roster and staffing allocation, and delivering clinical and personal care to meet residents’ cultural, emotional, physical, social and spiritual goals. On Saturdays, the RN Team Leader will step into the After Hours Supervisor role and manage our Brighton aged care home after hours (with the support of on-call). Week 1: Tuesday to Saturday 07:00 - 15:15 Week 2: Wednesday to Saturday 07:00 - 15:15 Additional shifts may be available at Brighton and/or our Brighton East (128-residents) home nearby. About you To be successful in this position, you will be person-centred, highly organised, and committed to delivering excellent care. You will have: Current AHPRA registration (Division 1) Experience in aged care, preferably in a residential setting Availability to work the full suite of shifts (0.9 FTE) as outlined above and minimum commitment until the end of March Proven effective and kind communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to foster teamwork and effectively coordinate personal care services whilst providing clinical care Able to work autonomously, having an understanding of accountability and the importance of consultation Ability to work as Chief Warden to manage emergency situations within established processes.
