The Regulatory Manager role reports directly to the Senior Regulatory Manager and manages the NSW regulatory affairs and engagement program, including building and managing professional relations with key casino regulators. You will be required to manage competing priorities, support the development of the regulatory team and attend internal and external meetings as well as draft correspondence and submissions while working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders to assist The Star as it undergoes a period of rapid transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity where you can effectively support one of The Star’s key strategic priorities in relation to strengthening our regulatory relationships. Support the business and ensure The Star meets the standard of open, cooperative and transparent engagement with regulators and provide feedback to The Star Sydney to enable pursuit of the property’s regulatory priorities. Coordinate implementation of directions and response to notices from Government and regulators. Provide support and regulatory advice to key business units to assist in progressing initiatives for approval and assist with their knowledge of regulatory obligations. What we are looking for: Proven experience working in a highly regulated environment or legal experience. Strong understanding of statutory and reporting requirements. Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with regulators and internal stakeholders. Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring professional and precise written communication with regulators and stakeholders. About you: You are a proactive and strategic professional with a strong background in regulatory compliance and risk management. Your experience in building and managing relationships with government agencies and regulators positions you to drive regulatory compliance across the business. Your ability to provide practical solutions to complex regulatory challenges makes you an asset to The Star Sydney. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our regulatory affairs framework and supporting The Star's commitment to responsible and ethical business practices.
