Role title: Regulatory Service Officer (grade 3/4) Business unit/Organisation: Operations Metro North B – SafeWork NSW Location: Parramatta Reason for vacancy: Newly created position in the new SafeWork structure Term: Ongoing Closing Date: 25th March 2025 (9:59 am) About the team: The Operations Metro directorate are at the forefront of sustained safety in workplaces across the greater Sydney area. We have universal compliance expertise enabling us to respond to any hazards, harms and industries. We respond when workers are injured or harmed to increase compliance and prevent recurrence. Often being the first interaction a business will have with SafeWork, we have a critical role in setting the foundations for a business to have a safe and productive workplace. Ideal Candidate: To be successful in this role, you will: Have experience in providing a variety of administrative support services with competing priorities and be capable of working independently and without direction. Demonstrate discretion and confidentiality and have a proven high level of attention to detail. Have excellent communication and relationship building skills and the ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Have a high level of skills across a range of Microsoft applications. Demonstrate a commitment to customer service. Be organised and adaptable to changing priorities. Key Attributes: Providing administrative support to the manager, inspectors and project teams such as preparing meeting agendas and taking minutes, processing inspector motor vehicle run sheets and maintaining the teams SharePoint page. Supporting the coordination of events, information sessions and workshops. Maintaining accurate records, ensuring current and relevant information is available and relevant policies, procedures, confidentiality and privacy requirements are met. Assisting with purchasing functions such as ordering equipment and processing of invoices using SAP.
