About the Role: The Reporting Analyst will play a pivotal role in our Caring Group Finance team, reporting directly to the Financial Planning and Analysis Lead. This position will be responsible for generating insightful reports and analysing data to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency across our organisation. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders at all levels of the Group. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand reporting requirements and develop customised reports to meet the needs of our Caring Group businesses. Generate periodic reports for senior management, including variance analysis and trend identification. Develop and maintain automated reporting processes to streamline data collection and analysis. Analyse financial and operational data and KPIs to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and drive operational efficiencies. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models. Compile data and reporting to fulfill regulatory and statistical reporting obligations. Support FP&A Lead and wider Finance team members with ad hoc projects. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular audits and reconciliations. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in reporting and data analytics. Skills and Experience Required: Qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 2+ years of experience in financial reporting, data analysis, or related field. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel. Experience with Power Query, Power BI, SQL, or similar desirable. Solid experience with enterprise accounting software platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. A passion for data and analytics, including commitment to learning new tools and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Flexibility: The Group adopts a hybrid flexible working model.
