Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to support our R&D team in the development of RNA therapies. The successful candidate will be instrumental in performing laboratory experiments and contributing to preclinical research aimed at discovering and optimizing RNA-based drugs. Key Responsibilities: Assist in conducting and optimizing in vitro experiments, including transfections and functional assays, to evaluate ASO activity. Perform molecular biology techniques, such as RNA isolation, RT-qPCR, and gel electrophoresis, to assess target gene knockdown. Maintain and culture mammalian cell lines. Perform biochemical and cell-based assays to study the efficacy and toxicity of ASOs. Support the development of protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory records and analyze experimental data. Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot experiments and interpret results. Ensure compliance with laboratory safety guidelines and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedical sciences, or a related field. Preferred: Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques such as RT-qPCR, transfections, and RNA/DNA analysis. Familiarity with cell culture techniques and aseptic handling. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment. Experience in RNA therapeutics, including ASO or siRNA research. Knowledge of drug discovery workflows and preclinical assay development.
