The successful applicant will join a collaborative team at Australia's top University to play a lead role in an innovative approach to translate fundamental biological discoveries to improve grain quality in wheat. Your responsibilities will include: Contributing significantly towards the research effort of the team and to develop your research expertise Assisting in the co-supervision and training of research students Preparing and communicating research outcomes for scientific conferences and research publications to a high academic standard Engaging with relevant professional and industry bodies and stakeholders to foster collaborative partnerships. Who We Are Looking For We’re looking for people who demonstrate a strong willingness to contribute to a diverse team, supporting junior researchers and looking for opportunities to develop their own career. You will also have: A PhD in biochemistry or a related field Strong motivation to contribute to the research project Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Technical competence with one or more of the following: proteomics, chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP), co-immunoprecipitation (Co-IP), or similar. This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University.
