Location: Kensington, Sydney Why this role matters Play a key role within the Justice Health Research Program (JHRP), School of Population Health in providing practical and efficient project support for project team members and key stakeholders. The role entails providing project coordination and support, reporting and analytical support, developing communications, building key internal and external relationships, and providing administrative support for a research project funded by Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) titled “A ‘whole-of-setting’ model of care for trans and gender diverse people in prison”. The project aims to undertake the research required to develop and evaluate a ‘whole-of-setting’ model of care for trans and gender diverse people in prison. The model will assist with implementing prison health and custodial policy reforms aimed at improving the health, wellbeing, and physical safety of incarcerated trans and gender diverse people. Minimum Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience. Demonstrated experience in data collection, codesign methods, and/or research evaluation. Experience working with trans and gender diverse groups and/or incarcerated people highly regarded. Project experience, with an understanding of the project life cycle and development of project plans, objectives and documentation. Sound stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders whilst exercising discretion and confidentiality. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively within a team, but also to take initiative and work independently while managing competing demands. Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative. Experience working with a range of computer systems and applications, including MS Office, MS Teams or Zoom, and NVivo.
