Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Research Scientist to contribute to the development and implementation of novel water treatment technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with the R&D team to design experiments, validate new technologies, and support product development. This position focuses on hands-on research and technical innovation with minimal managerial responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Research & Development: Conduct experiments, develop testing protocols, and analyze data to drive the development of innovative water treatment technologies. Prototype Development: Design and execute lab-scale experiments to validate new concepts and technologies. Technical Problem Solving: Address technical challenges with creative and innovative solutions in a collaborative research environment. Regulatory Support: Assist in ensuring all research activities comply with industry standards and regulations. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of experiments, data analysis, and findings to support R&D goals and reporting requirements. Collaboration: Work closely with other researchers, engineers, and stakeholders to align research activities with the company’s objectives. Qualifications and Experience: Education: PhD or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Experience: Proven research and laboratory work skills. Hands-on experience working in a research environment, including designing and conducting experiments and analyzing data. Technical Skills: Expertise in designing and conducting experiments related to water treatment technologies. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets. Familiarity with the development and testing of lab-scale systems and prototypes. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, particularly for technical documentation and presentations. Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of industry standards and the regulatory framework related to water treatment technologies. Personal Attributes: Innovative: Driven to develop new solutions to address complex technical challenges. Detail-oriented: Strong attention to detail in research design and data analysis. Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required): Experience in electrochemical technologies such as electro-oxidation and electro-coagulation or electrode development background. Familiarity with control systems and process engineering. Minimum of 3 years working in a research-focused environment.
