Your Opportunity: As a qualified Physiotherapist working in Residential Aged Care, you will join a large and collaborative multidisciplinary team providing personalised treatments. You will be involved in a new innovative way of offering allied health services to our clients. Our award-winning Plena Care Pathway has been designed to provide our therapists with an opportunity to tailor therapy programs for our residents, based on resident goals and priorities, delivering evidence-based mobility and functional programs, care plan reviews, one-to-one therapy interventions, and group-based active aging services. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive assessments and clinical recommendations to support consumer activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, falls risk and prevention, equipment requirements, pressure area care, skin integrity management, arthritic joint management, and pain management. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to the needs of Plena and the aged care facilities, and work within the scope of the Occupational Therapy profession. Australian working rights. Willing to obtain NDIS workers screening and National Police Check.
