What this role involves Assist and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Front Office & Food & Beverage team Supervise and monitor team members with true leadership ability that motivates the entire team Ensure all levels of service run smoothly Manage financial outcomes Understand all licensing and operating legislation affecting the department, including the Liquor Act. Maintain stock levels Hire, develop, and coach team members Attend all scheduled F&B and other relevant meetings when required. Handle customer complaints Qualifications What we are looking for Experience in a similar role in a dynamic environment Strong knowledge of food, beverages, and wine Excellent customer service skills Stellar communication and organizational prowess Ability to thrive under pressure and prioritize effectively Hold a valid RSA Full Australian working rights Availability for nights and weekends Who you are Passionate about food, wine, and hospitality Self-motivated and detail-oriented Thrives in a team and fast-paced environment Great leader Well-presented and punctual Additional Information Hotel Morris is an 82-room hotel opened in June 2023. We have a small team with a 'family' mentality where we help each other. The successful candidate for this role can speak English and has similar experience and is passionate about making a guest smile, maintaining a clean environment, and leading your own team on weekends when our housekeeping manager is away or on leave.
