Restaurant Manager / Assistant Restaurant Manager Expressions of Interest We are seeking experienced and passionate Restaurant Managers and Assistant Restaurant Managers who are looking for their next opportunity in the hospitality industry. Key Responsibilities: Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving financial, operational, and service goals. Lead and manage restaurant operations, ensuring high-quality, personalized guest experiences. Act on behalf of the Restaurant Manager when required. Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and stewarding teams to maintain seamless service and product consistency. Train, mentor, and develop staff to maintain high service standards. Monitor costs, including labour, stock, and wastage, to ensure budget compliance. Assist in staff rostering, ensuring adequate coverage while controlling wage costs. Oversee security, compliance, and restaurant close-down procedures. Ensure smooth handling of financial transactions, including EFT and shift reconciliation. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and service delivery. Work closely with the Executive Chef on menu planning when required. Support marketing and promotional initiatives to drive revenue. Maintain cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations. Recruit, onboard, and develop team members alongside HR and senior management. Plan and execute special events and functions. Conduct regular stocktakes and manage requisitions effectively. Hold daily briefings to communicate service standards, menu updates, and special events. About You: You are a dedicated hospitality professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Your leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills will drive team success and maintain service excellence. You are adaptable, reliable, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Requirements: Minimum five years' experience in Food & Beverage , including in a managerial role within a premium or fine dining setting. Strong knowledge of wine, cocktails, and beverage service , with proven experience in staff training (essential for most venues). Leadership skills with a focus on training, mentoring, and team development . Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills . Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (essential). Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word . Impeccable grooming and presentation. Diploma of Hospitality Management or equivalent (beneficial). Demonstrated knowledge of service standards specific to premium dining environments (essential).
