Job Description

Sopra Cucina Pty Ltd trading as Sopra Cucina & Bar is seeking an exceptional Restaurant Manager to work full-time. We are looking for a qualified, motivated, experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team of passionate and dedicated hospitality professionals. You will be working closely with our owners and executive chef to ensure that our patrons enjoy a heavenly dining experience. Your duties will include: Managing and coordinating the day-to-day restaurant operations; Collaborating with our head chef to plan seasonal menus and specials; Planning and managing special functions and events; Auditing inventory levels to ensure stock availability; Liaising with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing to maximize profits; Identifying stock shortages and liaising with suppliers, placing goods orders and reviewing quality of products delivered; Recruiting and training new and current restaurant staff; Managing front of house staff, including rostering and performance reviews; Enforcing adherence to hygiene and occupational health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment; Ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of dining areas; Ensuring the restaurant facilities are maintained in good working order; Maintaining and ensuring high levels of customer service; Communicating with diners to ensure their satisfaction with their dining experience; Handling customer complaints; Managing and recording all financial transactions, generating detailed weekly and monthly reports on revenue and expenses; Liaising with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations in the restaurant; Taking reservations and orders, setting and clearing tables etc when needed. Must have minimum 2 years’ experience as Restaurant Manager. Must be a team player who can abide by company policy and go the extra mile when required. The position is full-time.Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 (Salary negotiable for the right candidate and level of experience).
