Job Description

One of Melbourne’s most reputable, family-friendly Middle Eastern restaurants is on the lookout for a Restaurant Manager. We are eagerly seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee our restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Middle Eastern cuisine, exceptional leadership skills, and a customer-focused approach. You will ensure that our restaurant runs smoothly, maintains high standards of food quality and service, and creates a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring all activities align with company standards. Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food quality standards. Customer Service: Foster a positive dining experience by ensuring high-quality service. Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints effectively. Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Menu Development: Collaborate with chefs & owner to create and update the menu, incorporating authentic Middle Eastern dishes. Conduct market research to stay current on culinary trends and customer preferences. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management or related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a Middle Eastern or ethnic cuisine setting. Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Proficient in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems. Knowledge of Middle Eastern cuisine and cultural practices is a plus. Availability: Looking for candidates available to work: Tuesday: Afternoon, Evening Wednesday: Afternoon, Evening Thursday: Afternoon, Evening Friday: Afternoon, Evening Saturday: Afternoon, Evening Sunday: Afternoon, Evening Additional Information: 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role.
