This is a key commercial role that will have a direct impact on the success of the Crown hotels business. Using expert market knowledge this role is tasked with developing pricing tactics to maximise profitability of our hotels. You will also; Utilise data and insights to make recommendations to drive local revenue opportunities Work closely with key senior leaders on reporting key insights relating to revenue whilst incorporating other business units' priorities that incorporate demand Monitor market trends to ensure pricing strategy maximises occupancy Prepare weekly and monthly room occupancy and average rate forecasts through the use of business intelligence and revenue management applications. Constantly review the ideal customer segmentation that leads to the highest overall profitability and make recommendations back to the respective businesses About you This role is ideal for someone who considers themselves an expert in hotel trends. You will be passionate about staying across market trends and be a go-to subject matter expert. You will have proven experience in using data and insights to maximise profitability. You will also have; Undergraduate qualification in Hotel/Commerce or related business discipline Experience as a Revenue Manager for hotels with a strong track record of improving profitability Strong data, insights and mathematical skills with the ability to apply this to a commercial setting and communicate effectively. Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage competing demands to achieve tangible outcomes Previous experience with use of IDeaS would be advantageous. Sound understanding of emerging trends in technology to enable and enhance Crown’s customer journey strategy. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Hotel Management, Commerce, or related business discipline highly desirable.
