The position of Revenue Optimisation Manager, Outpatient Services will lead the identification of Own Source Revenue (OSR) opportunities for outpatient services, and develop and implement effective work practices, processes, and systems to improve the experience of patients, medical officers, and staff whilst optimising OSR. This role reports directly to the Principal Finance Officer (Revenue). About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Provide sound and contemporary advice on strategies to optimise OSR in conjunction with activity-based funding to support revenue decision making processes for the organisation's executive, clinicians, and divisions. Analyse and provide professional advice to the Hospital Finance Manager and other senior staff on optimising own source revenue opportunities, changes in revenue guidelines, and revenue processes and systems. Provide leadership and expertise in the development and implementation of agreed strategies, policies, procedures, and guidelines to optimise OSR in line with the Financial Management Practice Manual, Medicare, National Health Reform Agreement, and other compliance obligations to facilitate the efficient processing of outpatient generated revenue. Build and maintain strong business partnering relationships with key stakeholders including medical officers, operational management, clinical leads, business leads, and executive.
