What we are looking for: We are seeking a talented individual with experience in business administration to take charge of key processes in rating, revenue collection, and property services. This role offers great growth opportunities, leadership development, and the chance to make a real impact in local government services. What your day will look like: Lead a skilled team to maintain data integrity, oversee commercial property inspections, valuations, supplementary levies, and manage customer requests. Ensure efficient daily operations, including direct debit processing and accurate reporting. Provide leadership on projects and offer support to the Manager of Revenue and Property Rating. Relieve supervisory roles as needed, fostering high service standards and contributing to continuous improvement. Assist in the planning and co-ordination of the triennial notice runs. What you’ll need for success: Experience in the administration of a medium/large business. Ability to interpret and apply legislation and associated regulations, policies and procedures. Interpersonal and communication skills that build strong and effective relationships. High level of organisational skills with proven ability to achieve results, maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines and manage competing priorities. Ability to work independently and take responsibility whilst also working effectively as a member of a cohesive work team with a demonstrated strong work ethic and outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders. High level of research, analytical and problem-solving skills including a demonstrated ability to think laterally and plan and prioritise work to achieve required outcomes. A high level of computer literacy and keyboard skills with an emphasis on Word, Excel and data systems. What’s nice to have: Experience within a Local Government rating environment.
