We are a Catholic Primary School with an enrolment of approximately 454 students. The Risk and Compliance Officer is responsible for supporting the Principal to embed and maintain the school's risk and compliance systems, practices, and procedures to ensure that it complies with current legal and regulatory obligations and aligns with BCE system requirements. This role works closely with the Principal in support of embedding the first line of defense, identifying opportunities to adapt system processes to the context of the school, and influences stakeholders to implement improved school operations. This role also maintains strong connections to system stakeholders to identify and implement requirements in schools. Role Responsibilities: Essential Skills and Experience: The successful candidate will possess: A proven track record in managing risk and compliance, with a focus on sustainability and operational improvement. An ability to manage multiple tasks to achieve both project and operational outcomes. Strong knowledge of building, equipment and vehicle maintenance and safety regulations. IT skills in conjunction with knowledge of systems.
