Then you sound like a Worldpayer. About the role As a Risk Fraud/AML Analyst, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Transaction Monitoring Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of alerts generated by the Transaction Monitoring Program (TMP) to detect and assess potential financial crime risks. What you’ll own Perform first-round critical analysis of alerts from the Transaction Monitoring (TM) System to identify potential financial crime risks, ensuring compliance with designated SLAs, KPIs, and quality targets. Manage and resolve alerts in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to set standards and objectives for your assigned tasks. Escalate potential suspicious activity to the Financial Crime Operations team for further investigation. Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) when investigating alerts and handling cases. Participate in testing new TM rules and updates to existing ones, ensuring their relevance and effectiveness in detecting financial crime. Analyze and interpret transaction data, investigating customer activity, sources of funds, beneficial owners, and related parties to uncover possible risks. Collaborate with Financial Crime Operations Analysts to support the understanding of new cases and emerging financial crime typologies. Assist with screening assessments of customers and payments, including checks for PEPs, relatives/close associates, adverse media, and third-party risk. Thoroughly document case chronology and prepare detailed reports to support investigative outcomes. Identify and report trends or patterns of financial crime activity to the Financial Crime Team, recommending improvements to systems, policies, or procedures to mitigate future risks. Stay informed about new and emerging financial crime risks and trends to enhance the organization's monitoring efforts. Other related duties as assigned. What you bring Strong analytical and investigative skills. Familiarity with financial crime risk management and transaction monitoring processes. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on maintaining compliance and quality standards. ACAMS Training would be preferred.
