MJC is renowned for fostering a supportive, inclusive environment that transforms lives.Committed to achieving excellence through collaboration, innovation, and strategic growth, they are setting the new standard in education and wellbeing.Your new role As Risk & Property Manager, you’ll play a vital role in safeguarding MJC’s assets, operations, and people.Reporting to the Executive Director, you’ll develop and implement comprehensive risk management practices and oversee the maintenance and compliance of the college’s physical properties.Managing capital works projects and liaising with key vendors, you’ll maintain the highest quality service standards, all as part of your day to day.You’ll also navigate complex regulatory environments, ensuring compliance within areas of WHS, fire safety and building regulations, ensuring MJC remains a safe, compliant and resilient organisation.And, working directly with senior leadership, you’ll utilise your critical thinking to align risk frameworks and facility management strategies, establishing yourself as a key pillar of this thriving organisation.What You’ll Need Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (Risk Management or Property Management preferred). Proven experience in enterprise risk and facilities management, ideally within education or not-for-profit sectors. Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, building codes, and compliance frameworks. Exceptional communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
