We are currently recruiting for a Risk and Assurance Officer to assist our Risk and Compliance Manager with day-to-day servicing requirements of all UFS client needs whilst providing ongoing support and assistance in achieving strategic growth targets. You will closely collaborate with the Senior Risk and Assurance Advisor and play a key role in implementing controls for operational and transactional quality as well as transaction threshold and suspicious matters monitoring. What you will be doing Working with business stakeholders to conduct Quality Assurance (QA) monitoring and reporting on AML/CTF control metrics. Daily AML/CTF review of suspicious and threshold transactions, ongoing review of the automated financial crime module rules to ensure that they are adequate. Assist with an annual review of the financial crime rules by business stakeholders. Quality Assurance check of lending and client onboarding processes and ensure that loans are properly authorised; Ensure the quality of end-to-end service delivery provided to clients satisfies UFS service standards and client expectations while achieving compliance with UFS’ regulatory, policy, and procedural requirements. Assist with the screening of Partner Solutions and Support team phone discussions with clients for quality control and compliance. Support reviews of third parties, discharge processes, insurance requirements, and other initiatives, as required. What you will need: Knowledge and understanding of the Regulatory and Risk environment. QA Testing knowledge and understanding Experience spent working with a core banking platform A desire for identifying processes and service delivery uplifts across core banking functions.
