The Risk and Compliance Analyst will support the Head of Operations and Enterprise Risk, as well as the Risk and Compliance Associate, by: Enhance and monitor the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) and ensure compliance with internal policies. Manage breach and incident reporting and undertake operational risk assessments. Monitoring regulatory changes and ensuring timely regulatory filings. Review processes to identify and address compliance breaches and operational incidents, recommending control improvements. Location: Melbourne, Victoria Key responsibilities Regulatory oversight Research and communicate regulatory requirements to relevant stakeholders. Monitor regulatory changes and industry updates through bulletins and other sources. Prepare and submit regulatory filings on time. Risk and compliance management Maintain compliance registers, including risk, training, conflicts, incidents, and breaches. Conduct sample testing to ensure adherence to internal policies and control frameworks. Support the development and implementation of process improvements. Reporting and analysis Collect, analyse, and summarise data to prepare detailed reports. Assist in the preparation of risk and compliance updates for leadership teams. What you’ll bring to the role 2–3 years of experience in a financial market environment, preferably in funds management. Tertiary qualifications (or working towards one) in finance, business, commerce, or a related discipline. Proven expertise in risk and compliance, developed through consulting, auditing, or in-house roles, with a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements for funds management enterprises. Proficiency in using and understanding risk management systems. Advanced skills in data analytics, with the ability to interpret and analyse complex datasets. Excellent report-writing and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
