Job Description
Responsible for leading the site safety, health and environment agenda at the various site locations in alignment with the company’s strategic direction, building the SHE strategic framework with a core focus on risk and compliance and implementing safety management systems which promote the reduction and effective and safe management of workplace injuries and hazards, including promoting a culture of safety in the workplace. Qualifications Cert4 in WHS (minimum) 1-2 years in a similar Safety, HSE, WHS role within a manufacturing environment. Excellent communicator, able to build relationships across teams. Working knowledge/experience in chemical manufacturing / distribution / manufacturing industry or similar fields advantageous. Familiar with safety systems and process safety would be ideal.
