Student Services | UniSC Sunshine Coast, Sippy Downs Level 7, $99,285 - $108,534 p.a., plus up to 17% employer superannuation Full-time (36.25 hours per week), fixed-term appointment until December 2025 The Opportunity Join our team and make a meaningful impact on the student experience! You’ll provide innovative, high-quality STEM learning support that is proactive, flexible, and student-centered. Focused on enhancing academic and digital literacies, as well as offering English language and numeracy assistance, you’ll develop resources in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring they align with program requirements and are embedded within the curriculum. Services will be delivered through workshops, appointments, and curriculum integration, ensuring equity and accessibility for all students. Familiar with evidence-based service models, you'll contribute to maintaining high standards and effective, professionally evaluated practices. You will Provide innovative and high-quality support for learning to UniSC students; Provide proactive support for learning with a particular focus on STEM related academic and digital literacies, English language literacies, numeracy, and relevant skills in embedded, aligned, and co-curricular modes; Contribute to an evidence-based model of service across multiple sites. About you You have exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to communicate effectively across digital, verbal, and written channels with a wide range of stakeholders. Your ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with both internal and external partners, including academic staff and professional support teams, sets you apart. With strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, you take initiative to develop effective solutions while juggling multiple priorities and deadlines. Additionally, your advanced digital literacy ensures you are proficient in using a variety of software programs that support learning across diverse disciplines. You will possess: Completion of a relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably in the fields of STEM, with at least 4 years subsequent experience supporting diverse learners in a university setting or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training; A comprehensive understanding of the structure within universities or demonstrated ability to quickly obtain this knowledge to apply programs, policies and operations to day-to-day tasks; Extensive experience in the provision of high quality, innovative, efficient, and effective support for learning in an integrated environment. Including literacy, numeracy, language, and STEM support; Experience in the creation and delivery of workshop material across multiple channels to large groups of students from a diverse background; An understanding of trends and developments across the tertiary education sector.
