Add expected salary to your profile for insights F.R. Ireland Pty Ltd is a multi-franchised new and used vehicle dealer, located in Cairns and has the ISUZU TRUCK franchise for Far North Qld. The franchise area is from Cardwell in the South, West to the Qld border and North to the Tip of Cape York. An area larger than the State of Victoria. We are seeking an outgoing Sales Consultant with a keen interest in light, medium and heavy Trucks and a passion to exceed expectations. The role will involve: Actively seeking and developing new business opportunities with individuals and small businesses Working within the sales team to assist customers in selecting and purchasing the ideal vehicle to suit their needs Responding to clients queries over the phone, by email, face to face and, at their premises throughout the region Providing excellent customer service at all times Providing a First Class and friendly experience for every person you meet About you: Selling experience would be an advantage but not essential. Motor Vehicle sales experience is not something we typically look for in building our sales teams Business acumen would be an advantage Customer service training or experience is preferred Mechanical knowledge would be an advantage An enthusiasm for all things Truck would help you learn the products Capacity to work autonomously and also within the team, time management, customer focus, high attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills and be capable of delivering to KPI targets Experience in sales of intangible products, phone selling or internet selling may be an advantage Prior experience in a retail truck dealership is not considered an essential prerequisite. On offer: Hands on support Full training will be given to the successful candidate.
